Prescriptions will not be issued unless previously prescribed by a doctor in this practice.

Any prescription requests for strong pain relief and sleeping aid medication will require a face to face consultation.

All other prescription requests will be completed via a telephone consultation with your doctor.

If you have not been seen for a face to face consultation in the last 6 months, you will need a face to face consultation with your doctor.

It is the policy of this practice that only the patient (and in the case of a child, an adult) be present in the treatment room during a procedure.

Whilst every effort is made to minimise waiting times, your understanding and patience is sought on those occasions when there may be an emergency.

Please inform the reception desk if you have been waiting more than 30 minutes.

Doctors in the practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and you will be advised by the reception staff when it is likely that the doctor will return your call.

Your call will always be put through to a doctor or nurse in an emergency.

After hours advice may be obtained by telephoning 03 63911170 for instructions to call a deputising service.

You will normally be asked to telephone after 2.00pm for these, some two days after they have been performed.

The doctor will have left a message with the result with regards to any further action required.

If you require a detailed discussion about any result you will need to make an appointment with your doctor.

To transfer your notes to another surgery, there may be a $40.00 charge.
