Dr Emily Goss
I grew up in Longford and went to Longford Primary School. I studied medicine in Hobart, Burnie and Launceston through the University of Tasmania.
Since finishing in 2013, I’ve spent 5 years working at the Launceston General Hospital. My main interest was in Emergency Medicine, and I have done the Emergency Medicine Certificate.
I love rural medicine, and have spent time in far western NSW doing placements with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
At home I have my husband and two beautiful children. When I’m not working we love to go camping and diving for crayfish. You also might see me riding my bike around the back roads of Longford!
