I was born in Melbourne and moved to Tasmania during high school. I studied medicine at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 1979 along with my husband Tim (Flanagan).

I worked at Launceston General Hospital and Burnie Hospital where I did postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Family planning before joining Tim in General Practice in Circular Head.

We came to Longford in 1999 and have enjoyed living and working in this community, since then.

I enjoy all aspects of General Practice and the challenge of sorting out complex problems.

I am a Medical Educator with General Practice Training Tasmania involved in postgraduate training of GP registrars. I am a member of the Eskleigh Board, the clinical governance committee for Cornerstone (incorporating Headspace) and Toosey Nursing Home

I am an avid reader and enjoy day walks in the bush and time at the shack with our two adult children.
